Qatargas trains 6, 7 LNG output sold -Qatar minister

Train 6 is expected to start loading in late November or early December while train 7 is set to start in February 2011-says official.


Future liquefied natural gas output from Qatargas’ trains 6 and 7 has already been sold, Qatar Oil Minister Abdullah al-Attiyah told Reuters on Thursday.
Qatar is the world’s biggest exporter of LNG, or gas cooled to liquid form so it can be transported by tankers.
Al-Attiyah was in Tokyo to attend a bilateral economic meeting with Japan.
Qatargas Chief Operating Officer Ahmed al-Khulaifi said on Wednesday that train 6 is expected to start loading in late November or early December while train 7 is set to start in February 2011
